Funding for Coaches, Officials and Volunteers
Are you, or do you know a coach, official or volunteer in a sport or active
recreation club looking for funding to up-skill or complete further training?
The Office for Recreation and Sport is offering scholarships of up to $1000
to help successful applicants achieve their goals. More information and
application forms can be found on the ‘Grants and Scholarships’ page of
our website www.recsport.sa.gov.au.
Applications close 7 March 2011.

Laurence Fletcher, fastest under 21 in Australia
On the weekend Laurence Fletcher, Rec SA Administration Assistant and SASI Kayaker showed himself to be the fastest under 21 kayaker in Australia. Well done Laurence!

Laurence is currently studying Human Movement at Uni SA, he is a SASI scholarship kayaking athlete and passionate about recreation.
